Gold Dust Woman

a song by "stevie nicks", although i prefer the performance by "sister hazel" more but the lyrics are what i enjoyed most

Rock on gold dust woman

Take your silver spoon

Dig your grave

Well it's a heartless challenge

Pick your path and I'll pray

Wake up in the morning

See your sunrise loves to go down

Lousy lovers

Pick their prey but they never cry out loud, cry out loud

Well did she make you cry

Make you break down

Shatter your illusions of love

Is it over now

Do you know how

To pick up the pieces and go home

So rock on

Ancient queen

Follow those who pale in your shadow

They say that rulers they make bad lovers

You better put your kingdom up for sale, up for sale

Well did she make you cry

Make you break down

Shatter your illusions of love

Is it over now

Do you know how

To pick up the pieces and go home

And go home...

Ooh, pale shadow of a woman

Ooh, black widow, oh yeah

Ooh, pale, she's a shadow, she's a dragon (Taken by, taken by the sky)

Gold dust woman (Taken by, taken by the sky)

Tell me

Tell me

Tell me

Tell me

Tell me

Tell me

Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me

Did she make you cry

Make you break down

Shatter your illusions of love

Is it over now

Do you know how

To pick up the pieces and go home

Tell me did she make you cry

Make you break down

Shatter your illusions of love

Tell me is it over now

Do you know how

To pick up the pieces and go home

Go home...

And go home...

Deep lyrics and a lot of meaning and I am searching for the exact meaning of the lyrics at the moment (what stevie nicks meant), if anyone is interested tell me and I’ll email them with the meaning when I’m done with the research

hmmm, the song reminded me partly of a poem writteb by Coleridge, the Romantics school pioneer, this enchanted exotic feeling of la femme fatal.will try remember its name. But anyway,i think I too has to get the song, sounds worthy
